Saturday

It is cold.

I feel a toasted teacake coming on with possibly a mug of hot chocolate.

What a lovely collection of bunnies and flowers.....
My Saturday morning treat of back to back Time Team has been disappointing - I'm sorry but Neolithic round houses are very dull. I just can’t get excited about a post hole.Give me a medieval monastery any day....Barrows….not wheel barrows that are practical and pretty if they are made of wood but some old mound of earth with a few bits of bronze age pot just aren’t doing it for me.

Do you think we are related?

  2. LOVE those bunnies and flowers (and the new header) - so Easterish, and hopeful of spring. I'm fed up with the cold and the grey and feeling miserable. I need some warmth and some light.

  3. Fantastic bunnies. I love the colours you've used. We had fried jam sandwiches here to banish the cold. Sounds like a dish Elvis would have loved.

  7. Fried jam sandwiches sound amazing! We used to have something like that when I was little where the jam sandwiches were dipped in egg - my mum called them Poor Knights... why??????

Anyway hello from New York where I am now fed up with skyscrapers and a freezing cold howling wind and am desperately wishing for England, bunnies, and fried jam sandwiches.

  13. I am partial to a Roman ruin, especially if it has a mosaic floor.

    Bunnies are delightful.
