Louise sent mucho goodies from the Big Apple.
I nearly burst into tears when I was unwrapping them yesterday as it was like finding treasure.
I almost didn't want to unwrap them as they had little messages on each one - her new stamp kit had been put to good use!
Felted wool, or felled wool to be technically correct - subtle colours I had been searching for
Wool I had been drooling over on the Internet. Once I locate my knitting needles I will experiment to find the stitch that best shows off this beautiful yarn.
Some of Louise's crochet. Stella and I think it's to nice to put a cup of coffee on so I am currently thinking of what I can do with my little square - suggestions on a postcard please.
And as if all this wasn't enough her mum brought me round a huge bag of cooking apples! and Stella bought me a cream version of the T shirt that she and I are currently living in - the perfect T shirt, washes and tumble dries beautifully, long in the body, and with a flattering neck line - from our favourite shop - New Look
gifts in the post are the best!
