Reshuffle

Yesterday my husband cleaned the windows…..when I came round after fainting I decided to move furniture about.
I should explain….I hate not being able to access windows easily especially this time of year when opening and closing occurs on a daily basis so I took myself upstairs and surprised myself and what I achieved!
In addition to this the main problem of living in a small home when you have a lot of ‘stuff’ is optimizing the space you have. If you have read Gigibird for any length of time you know that organization and tidiness are not buzz words I use a lot but as I’m itching to getting sewing and making lovely things for Florence Hope I came to the conclusion I had to face my weakness for chaos and get the very small space working to the optimum!
Here are a few progress photos. Already the ‘flow’ is much improved.
I now have stock, wrapping and labels all together, props for photos in one place and I am gathering buttons ready to have one hell of a sort out.

Accessing my stash is easy peasy now

So neat and tidy ( for me)

Current WIP....

  7. I thought you might like to know that we entered Silas into a dog show at the local fete on saturday and he came 5th out of about 40 dogs in the best of breed catagory! He did disgrace us by getting into a little scrap with another springer that was far too preened for my liking and poor old Nick got told off by the owner who had had one 2 many beers! Nick had the last laugh though because their dog didn't get through to the finals! Who said country life was quiet?

  8. I hate it when people tidy! I just shifted all the mess from outside my office inside so no-one sees it and now there is no office....just a wall of stuff!

It looks so clean and fresh...and neat! My workroom looks like a bunch of crazed chimps have gone in, dragged everything off the shelves and thrown it all about. Oh wait a minute, that was me.......

  14. Great to see the results of all your re-shuffling Lynn. I really like your sewing nook. I want to inject some creativy into our sunroom so I can get crafty too. Maybe your post here will give me just the inspiration I need? x
