The website does itself no favours and if I’m honest the front of house is pretty unspectacular but what redeems it and what will make us visit time and time again are the lovely helpful staff and the fabulous selection of fabrics.
I bought fat quarters although I don’t know what I’m going to do with them….I’m sure I’m not alone here….. but I like having pretty things around me and I love all of them.
I also have a bee in my bonnet about trying silk ribbon embroidery so surprise, surprise I bought some silk ribbon; at £3 for each very small amount I only bought 2 colours.

ReplyDeletecount me in as another green-eyed-monster...how i would have loved to tag along with you and stella. ribbon embroidery is great. i've really enjoyed doing some in the past after reading an article about it...i'll try to dig it out and do you a copy. you were very restrained just to buy the two colours. how about cutting strips of silk/fabric to try using too?
