Considering we own the ugliest pond in the world we lavish a lot of time and effort upon it.
Bank Holiday Monday was the perfect day for a fishy water change and general pond spruce up – my husband basically does all the hard work but I am the fish and frog wrangler getting them out and then back again.

I am always amazed at the number of frogs we find as I hardly ever see any in or around the pond.

Frogs are funny little creatures, very determined and I am sure they have a sense of humour.

I swear that frog is grinning in that last photo!

Oh, how I love that last photo - brilliant! x
ReplyDeleteI like the two in the middle pic, they look very interested in what's going on. Nice new blog look :-)
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of frogs in our garden, they visit from the pond next door.
ReplyDeleteOur dog likes to chase them.
Thankfully they are too quick for him!
aww - I love froggies!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing what you can find when you clean out your pond. We did ours last week and found all sorts of weird things. I sure am glad it's done as it is my least favorite job.

Now that's cute! I don't think they're really cute when they jump from my pots when I'm watering and scare the daylights out of me though!
ReplyDeleteWarm blessings,
Spencer
Great pics!
ReplyDeleteAs frogs go, those guys look big for English frogs. Well done!!! If my brother was writing a comment on this post, he'd say something like: "The presence of amphibians is the sign of a healthy ecosystem".
ReplyDeleteFabby photo.....Mmmm I cleaned my pond out today, bit wiffy!!!!
