  2. Glad to see you are back to Licking the Spoon! That looks delicious. Mustn't make it or I will end up eating the lot. XXX

  3. ooh that made me feel very hungry! I do love fruit cake! yumyum

  4. I've been yearning for fruitcake for a while and now that I've stumbled upon your pics and recipe, I'm pretty sure now I am going to make it.
    I'll let you know...

  5. That looks like exactly the kind of fruit cake I like. Not took heavy. I've been looking for a good recipe for ages so I'll have to give this one a try.

  6. Looks deelish. I've not made a fruit cake in years - might have to try this one. My Mum always used to make one, she just called it 'farmhouse' cake and it was always in the house. And you are right, theres not the pull to keep going back for more with fruit cake !

  7. can't wait to try this out...can it beat the bara brith???! looks just as yum. i will report back with results!

thanks for sharing. fruit cake or any cake is a winner in our household...we're a lethal sweet toothed couple : )

  8. That looks so gorgeous.

  9. Now this is just the most perfect post for today, it is far too cold to venture outside, so I am going to do some bakeing, with your scrummy recipe. BIG thankyou Lynn.
In answer to your question, I get 2 hours a day travelling on the train....guess what I do to pass the time!!
    Hugs Lynn xx
